Princess Alexandra House specialises in providing care and support to older people but not nursing.
It is a family run home for 16 people in an elegant and spacious house overlooking Preston Park and where there is a happy and relaxed atmosphere and a good quality of life in retirement for the elderly.
Most of the care team have been at Princess Alexandra for many years, enjoy their work and are experienced in the varied and changing needs of residents. Their training is up to date and they offer care and support to enable everyone to live as full a life as possible.
There are good and varied home-cooked meals with fresh produce and there is a varied activities programme.
Residents at Princess Alexandra enjoy a safe and supported lifestyle in a delightful environment. Helpfulness and comfort are our priorities with visitors welcome at any time.
Residents are happy to call it home.
