Praxis Care is a Registered Charity originally established in Belfast over 30 years ago for the provision of Health and Social care services throughout Ireland, Isle of Man and England. The organisation has strategically decided that it is important to invest in the future so that it will be better placed to fulfil its mission “Empowering adults and children with mental ill health, learning disability, or acquired brain injury to enjoy everyday living, irrespective of the complexity of their needs”. We currently deliver services of the highest quality to over one thousand adults and children.
Praxis Care has established its credentials as a charity And Company Limited by Guarantee which is ready, willing and able to do what is necessary to deliver affordable, high quality, sustainable services to the most vulnerable individuals in society.
We provide a wealth of experience in supporting individuals experiencing mental ill health, adult learning disability, children’s learning disability, dementia, people with acquired brain injury. Our expertly trained professional carers consistently display a sense of loyalty, commitment to their own professional development and pride in their work maintaining the highest codes of conducts and are clearly driven by the belief that they are making a difference to the lives of their service users.
There are a number of volunteer befriending services available. This service helps reduce social isolation and improve the wellbeing of individuals. Confidential counselling is also available for people affected by a wide range of mental health issues
The care home provides 24-hour care and accommodation supporting up to seven people whose primary needs relate to their learning disability. The property is a purpose built building approximately half a mile from the village of Timperley in a quiet location bordered by residential homes and flats.
