PillarCare’s key objective is to ensure the provision of a high quality professional care service: one that protects the most vulnerable; promotes choice and independence at home; and optimises wellbeing, social inclusion and quality of life.
To achieve this, we employ a team of highly experienced and qualified carers -- following a rigorous recruitment process -- who receive ongoing training and supervision to ensure they have the knowledge, skills and expertise to deliver the very highest standards of care.
In addition, our friendly and professional care managers are able to offer support and guidance to clients and family members every step of the way, from initial enquiry and care needs consultation process through to the delivery and ongoing monitoring of the care package.
We are especially proud of the flexibility and range of services we are able to provide, including long- and short-term live-in care, day care (minimum of 4 hours applies), waking-night care, 24-hour continuous care, and end of life and palliative care.
Furthermore, we individually tailor our home care packages to meet the specific health and social care needs of each client, offering support with companionship, domestic tasks, shopping, meal provision, prompting and administering medication, prescription collection, personal and continence care, mobility assistance, accompanying clients to healthcare appointments and social engagements/activities, and assistance with hospital admission and discharge.
PillarCare is registered with the CQC who published our latest inspection report in April 2013. At the time of the inspection, approximately two-thirds of clients using the service were privately funded, with local authorities and social services commissioning care for the remainder.
