Pembroke House provides residential and nursing care to former Royal Naval Ratings, other ranks from the Royal Marines, their wives and widows. The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust, a charitable non-profit making organisation owns and manages the home.
Our Philosophy
Pembroke House is a unique establishment that reflects Service traditions and provides a welcoming and caring extended family atmosphere. Individual's dignity and privacy will be upheld at all times.
We believe in freedom of choice. Individual preferences will be accommodated wherever possible, taking into consideration cultural diversity and religious needs. All residents retain the right of autonomy which is actively encouraged to create the best and most appropriate individualised care, to promote independence allowing an excellent quality of everyday life.
We will endeavour to fulfil a social calendar giving equal opportunity to all. We offer a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment and welcome the involvement of family and friends.
