The care we offer
Parkside House offers several types of stay depending on the level of support required. The home offers excellent care for those needing nursing care, convalescence, respite and palliative care. As you would expect from Bupa, Parkside only employ dedicated and well-trained staff to provide 24 hour care and support for residents.
Food
The home's chef creates a wide range of balanced, nutritious dishes, prepared daily using good quality produce. Taking a multi-cultured approach, the chef takes time to visit every resident to understand personal tastes, preferences and dietary requirements.
Residents can eat in the sociable dining room or in the privacy of their own bedroom if they prefer. Snacks and drinks are always available to residents.
Activities
The home's activity co-ordinator arranges a varied and entertaining social calendar with daily activities, trips to local places of interest and visits from local entertainers. There is ample time for personal hobbies and clubs for residents with common interests.
Residents can choose to join a variety of the organised clubs at Parkside House, including the knitting club, weekly classical club and the Friday afternoon tea club. There is an onsite hairdressing salon and a hairdressing attends the home five days per week.
