"As a family we found it distressing having to decide to turn a respite break into permanent care for our Mother. It was the best decision we ever made. The first time I went to view Whitefriars it felt warm, happy and extremely welcoming. The staff did a marvelous job in showing me around and crushing any worries I had and I felt immediately it was the right place to be for Mum to be happy and well cared for. All staff are extremely hard working and respectful in every way. The service and care Whitefriars deliver is second to none. I visit and come away knowing Mum is well cared for in every respect of her wellbeing. If has given my mother a reason to enjoy life again. I would thank each and every one of them for being part of that."

ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - OSJCT WHITEFRIARS


Whitefriars provides support to 56 older people. The home has a separate suite for people with dementia.

The home is located close to the centre of the market town of Stamford in Lincolnshire.  It is operated by The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT). OSJCT is a leading charity which provides care for older people in over 70 care homes and extra care schemes.

Whitefriars can provide both long and short term care, as well as day care and flexible support to assist carers, especially in times of crisis.

All residents are encouraged to play an active role in the decision making process of daily life within the home and we hold regular residents' meetings.
