ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - OSJCT BROOKSIDE
Brookside provides accommodation and care for 50 older people, some of whom who may also have dementia.
The home, located in a residential area, a short walk from Melksham town centre in Wiltshire, is operated by The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT). OSJCT is a leading not for profit charity which provides care for older people in over 70 care homes and extra care schemes.
Residents' rooms are single and well proportioned, with wash hand facilities and other essential furnishings. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their own possessions and furniture if they so wish. Bedrooms are located on two floors linked by a lift.
Brookside is set in its own attractive and accessible grounds, which include a patio, summerhouse, greenhouse and an attractive enclosed garden to the rear.
