ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - OKECROFT
Okecroft is a care home for up to five people who have learning disabilities, and who may also have physical disabilities. It is a registered care home shortly to become a supported living service. Okecroft is situated on the outskirts of the town with easy access for families to visit.
Our customers are encouraged to lead full independant lives they are recognised as individuals with individual needs. all customers are treated with dignity and respect they are assisted to make their own choices to live their life as they want.
All customers are encouraged to have input in their person centred plan.
The customers are assisted and encouraged to be involved in in- house activities they also have access to the community with their own transport. There is easy access to the town via public transport.
There is a small supermarket within walking distance there is a good selection of shops in the town also easy access to a indoor swimming pool.
Okecroft is a large bungalow with ample parking at the front and a large garden laid to grass and a patio all on the same level at the rear of the property
Okecroft was fully compliant on the last Care Quality Commission inspection.
