ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - OAKHURST GRANGE NURSING HOME
Oakhurst Grange is a modern, purpose-built, single storey home that has been specially designed to meet the needs of elderly residents. It is situated in a quiet residential area of Southgate, in Crawley in West Sussex.
The care we offer
We offer several types of stay depending on the level of support required – from long-term and nursing, to respite. We also offer nursing dementia care, convalescence, palliative care and care for people with Parkinson's disease.

At Oakhurst Grange residents enjoy the highest standards of care, comfort and support. Friendly, experienced staff add to the warm, homely atmosphere. They can take it easy in our many social areas, enjoy comfortable and attractive bedrooms and take part in interesting daily activities. There is help and companionship when needed meaning that each resident can continue their daily life with personal privacy and dignity in a safe, caring environment.
Bedrooms
Bedrooms are attractively decorated and furnished to a high standard. They all have thermostatic radiator, a smoke detector, a telephone point and a 24-hour call system. Some also have remote controlled televisions and a view over the delightful gardens. We encourage residents to make their bedrooms feel like home. They can do this by choosing their own colour scheme, bringing in personal belongings such as ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture. We can even discuss the possibility of keeping small pets.
Gardens
Each of the four houses has a large landscaped garden area. There are herb and sensory gardens, outdoor seating and patio areas surrounded by attractive mature shrubs and raised gardens, for all residents to enjoy. Residents who enjoy gardening are welcome to continue this interest at Oakhurst Grange if they wish.
