Oakhill House Nursing Home is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac only a short distance from the centre of Horsham, in West Sussex. This nursing home has been carefully designed to provide a safe environment with specialist care for elderly people with dementia care needs. The layout allows residents to move around freely, and there is a special activities centre providing enjoyment and stimulation.
The care we offer Oakhill Nursing Home provides care for residents mainly with dementia-related conditions. We also offer convalescence, palliative care and respite.
We are passionate about treating each resident as an individual, understanding their personality and history and responding to their interests and needs. We also always aim to maintain self-respect and dignity at all times.
In order to maintain these levels of care, we employ registered nurses - including mental health nurses and highly-trained care assistants who provide 24-hour professional support and assistance.
Key features of Oakhill House This purpose built two-storey nursing home has a carefully planned layout which enables residents to walk around freely. Oakhill House’s gardens are secure, which means residents can enjoy the outdoors on sunny days in a safe environment.
Bedrooms Most bedrooms have ensuite facilities, and views over the lovely landscaped gardens. All are attractively decorated and comfortably furnished. We encourage our residents to add their own ornaments, pictures and other belongings to make their bedroom feel more like home. Larger rooms may be able to accommodate two people if required.
