ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - OAKDENE RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME
Oakdene is a small, supportive residential care home for citizens with learning disabilities. The family atmosphere is supported by many of the current residents having happily lived at Oakdene for a number of years. Daily activities include a regular art sessions, movie afternoons and a range of therapeutic activities designed to meet both needs and interests. Citizens are encouraged to develop and maintain skills of independence with one to one trips to the shops and places of interest. Oakdene residents enjoy celebrating cultural festivals and offer a day service for non-residents to come along and join in. Conveniently located on Woodborough Road in Nottingham city centre Oakdene offers single rooms with washing facilities, and welcomes pets by arrangement.
