ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - MOUNTAIN ASH
Located in the coastal village of Fairlight Cove, East Sussex, Mountain Ash offers support to individuals with severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities and other complex needs.
Mountain Ash offers a welcoming environment, set in the heart of the local community. The single-storey building has been fully adapted to meet the needs of each person and has an excellent range of facilities including two large sensory rooms, which provide stimulation and relaxation and are the main focal point of the home. In addition, there are two lounges offering a wide range of audio and visual equipment and a dining room. There are eleven bedrooms in total, all of which have access to specially adapted shower and bathroom facilities.
The home also benefits from its indoor hydrotherapy pool and spa, which is greatly enjoyed by the people who live here. The pool is ideal in helping to stimulate service users and to help aid physical therapy. The large private landscaped gardens offer decked areas and all entrances have access ramps where required. The home has a large car park including designated spaces for the home's two fully adapted buses.
Situated on a quiet, private no through road, Mountain Ash is located between Hastings and Rye.
The area is tranquil and has magnificent landscapes with superb views across the English Channel. Just one mile from the home is the Fire Hills Country Park - a local conservation area, which is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty.
