ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - MORNINGTON HALL RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING HOME
Mornington Hall is bright, modern and purpose-built for elderly residents, situated in the residential area of Manor Park in Newham in east London. As part of Bupa's ongoing commitment to its care homes, Mornington Hall has recently completed a substantial refurbishment programme.
The care we offer
At Mornington Hall we offer several types of care depending on the level of support required, from long-term care, to residential and both nursing and nursing dementia care. Respite is also available for those who need a much deserved break.
Key features of Mornington Hall
Whether staying with us long-term or just for a short period, we want every resident to feel very much at home. With this in mind we take care to create comfortable, homely surroundings and a warm, friendly atmosphere. We know how important it is to keep in touch with friends and family, so our door is always open to guests.
Bedrooms
En-suite bedrooms all of which are attractively decorated to a high standard, have garden views and some have direct access onto the sweeping grounds. Each bedroom has a telephone and aerial point, thermostatic radiators, smoke detector and a 24-hour call system. We encourage residents to bring pictures, ornaments and other personal belongings to help make their rooms feel more like home.
Gardens
Mornington Hall has pretty gardens filled with lovely features to stimulate or relax the senses. The grounds are large and have been attractively landscaped, so they are ideal for sitting out on a sunny day. There is a honeysuckle covered gazebo providing some shade, and a beautiful sensory garden with lawns, silver birch trees and looping pathways lined with flower beds.
All houses have access to the gardens and patio areas. In the summer we hold fetes and musical entertainment in the grounds too. There is even a potting shed which is used by those residents who like to get their hands dirty with some gentle gardening.
