Respite Support – Milner House:
We can provide adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to take a break from their carer or family environment, this could be a chance to learn independent daily living skills with support or the choice to take a holiday in our welcoming, purpose-built, respite home, Milner House. Overnight stays and short breaks at Milner House can enable people to maintain their usual routine, make new friends and try new things with qualified, experienced staff.
Transition Support:
For many young people, moving from school life into young adulthood can be both an exciting and daunting prospect that can present new challenges. We can provide support and advice services to make it easier for our customers to make their own decisions about needs and wishes for accessing training, keeping healthy, forming and maintaining friendships, finding somewhere to live and having a fulfilling social life.
