Situated within a residential area on the outskirts of Luton, Bedfordshire, Milliner House is a purpose built 40 bedded care home offering Dementia, Residential and Mental Health care.
Meet the team
At HC-One our experienced Home Managers and members of staff ensure kindness is at the heart of everything we do.
Our Chefs pride themselves in knowing the tastes of our Residents and preparing a choice of home cooked, fresh, nutritional meals and catering for any dietary and cultural needs.
Family and friends join Residents for meals which are served in one of our dining rooms or, if our Residents wish, they can choose to eat in their own rooms.
Hobbies and interests
Our Activities Co-ordinator spends time with Residents to ensure popular pastimes are included within the weekly activities calendar which is displayed in the home, this includes:
• Art & crafts
• Music and movement
• Visits by Barley our ‘PAT’ Dog
• Quizzes
• One to one shopping trips
The cinema room is popular with film lovers who often enjoy watching classic films and modern movies.
Residents also enjoy organised trips to local amenities such as , Whipsnade Zoo, Woodside Animal Park and Stockwood Park Discovery Centre.
Outdoor areas
Popular with Residents, our attractive enclosed courtyard and large mature garden is a tranquil area for Residents to relax.
