Opened in 1976, Mill Lane offers specialised nursing care for the elderly and has an enviable reputation in the local community for its high quality care. The Home, which was once the local doctor’s surgery, has been sympathetically extended and refurbished to now offer a choice of welcoming reception rooms with attractive patio areas, all available for our residents and their guests to enjoy. Although our rooms are fully furnished, we encourage residents to bring with them items of furniture and personal effects to complement those already provided so that their room can become an individual retreat.Mill Lane is situated in the Old Town residential area of Felixstowe, conveniently near to a range of shops and amenities. To ensure that our residents continue to have an active social life, the homes’ minibus regularly takes residents to the local theatre, on shopping trips or to benefit from the fresh sea air of the nearby coastline. If you simply wish for peace and tranquillity, well maintained gardens surround the Home, allowing you to enjoy a haven from the bustle of the town.
