Melford Court is situated on the high street in the delightful village of Long Melford, with its shops and amenities and only minutes from the rolling countryside.
The care we offer Melford Court offers nursing care, convalescence, palliative care and respite. Melford Court maintains close links with the local community and offers day care to local older people. We employ dedicated, well trained staff to provide 24-hour care in a professional and respectful way.
Food Mealtimes are an important part of each day at Melford Court. Residents enjoy tasty, seasonal menus, all cooked with fresh ingredients. Residents can choose to eat in the hotel style dining room or in their own room if they wish.
We also aim to fully understand new residents' nutritional needs, tastes, special diets and preferences soon after their arrival at Melford Court. We also regularly look for feedback so we can continue to improve our food service.
Activities There are many daily activities at Melford Court, including painting, gardening, flower arranging and excursions to local places of interest. The dedicated activity co-ordinator ensures that there are always stimulating and enjoyable activities for residents of all capabilities. These include group and individual events.
Melford Court runs twelve key activities and events, spread throughout the year. At least one event is held each month and they include seasonal events such as Burns night, Pancake day, Mother’s day as well as several community events. These events are specially designed to enable all residents to get involved and their friends and family are also encouraged to join the fun!
