ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - MEADOWS COURT CARE HOME

Meadows Court Care Home sits in the heart of the village next to the church and is the original rectory for the peaceful and picturesque village of Hogsthorpe, Lincolnshire. The village is situated 6 miles north of Skegness, a thriving seaside town with many amenities, 2 miles from the beach at Chapel St. Leonards and 7 miles from the market town of Alford. Within the village there are local facilities including a Shop/Post Office, Church, Craft Centre, a Pub, a Restaurant and a Horse Riding school. Regular buses run through the village to surrounding larger towns and there is a bus stop within walking distance from the home.

Meadows Court is registered with Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide accommodation and care to 22 residents, both male and female in the category of Old Age, persons suffering from Dementia, Mental Disorder, Mental Health or Mobility problems.

We will endeavour to meet all assessed personal needs of our service users, be it general health deterioration or clients with high dependency needs. We do not however provide “in house” nursing services but the visiting community and district nurses will assess and meet all nursing requirements as far as our registration category will allow. We also work in partnership with Marie Curie and Alzheimer’s Society.

Meadows Court is happy to accept emergency admissions, where the accommodation appropriate to the individual, is available. Our only exclusion criteria is that we are a strictly no smoking establishment, with smoking allowed only within a designated area.
