ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - MAYPOLE NURSING CENTRE
Maypole is situated in the quiet village of Hedge End, close to amenities and the River Hamble, near Southampton.
The care we offer Maypole offers several types of stay depending on the level of support required - from long term and nursing to respite care. We provide care for older residents, young people with physical disabilities and to those with a terminal illness. We also offer convalescent, palliative care, and care for people with Parkinson's disease.
Key features of Maypole Recently refurbished, Maypole is modern and purpose-built with a light décor offering a homely, welcoming feel. We support each resident in continuing their daily life and ensure personal privacy and dignity, in a safe, caring environment. There are several attractive lounges where residents can relax, watch television and entertain guests or they can enjoy some fresh air in the pretty gardens.
Bedrooms All bedrooms are attractively decorated and furnished to a high standard. Each has ensuite facilities and some have views over the delightful gardens. Each bedroom has a television, telephone point, thermostatic radiator, smoke detector and a 24-hour call system. We encourage residents to make their rooms feel more personal by bringing ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture from home.
