Market Lavington is a nursing and residential centre situated in the heart of the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. A listed building, and previously an old vicarage, now converted, extended and very recently refurbished - this well equipped home has been awarded the maximum three-star ‘excellent’ rating by the Care Quality Commission inspectorate.
The care we offer Market Lavington provides nursing and residential care for older residents.We offer both long and short-term care, including respite and palliative care. We also offer convalescence, specialist residential dementia care and care for people with Parkinson's disease.
Key features Market Lavington was originally a private house, and has since been carefully converted creating a pleasant, well-equipped home. Offering a welcoming and homely feel, the home has been subject to substantial investment, seeing a full refurbishment for the benefit of its residents.
The fireplaces in each of the five lounges create a welcoming ambience. Here residents can relax, entertain guests, play a game of cards or watch a spot of television.
Bedrooms All bedrooms at Market Lavington are attractively decorated and furnished to a high standard. Most are ensuite and several have views out onto the pretty gardens. We always encourage our residents to make their bedrooms more personal and homely by bringing favourite ornaments, small items of furniture or pictures. They can also choose their own colour scheme for their room if they wish. All bedrooms have a remote controlled television, smoke detectors and a 24-hour call system.
