ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - MAPLE LEAF LODGE
Maple Leaf Lodge care home provides accommodation for people who have a learning disability or mental health needs.We specialise in the support of people who may have challenging behaviour, sexual dysfunction, autism and complex emotional needs.There are two areas to the home, the main house has 10 bedrooms which are all en-suite. There is a seperate annexe which has two self contained flats to enable people to have an element of independant living in a suportive environment. The home accesses a variety of community faciliites , including local colleges, gyms and shopping centres and everyone who lives at Maple Leaf Lodge is encouraged to participate in all aspects of their lives and regular service user meetings and reviews are held to ensure that their views are heard. We have people living at Maple Leaf Lodge for a number of years, but we can accomodate short term placements to enable someone to build confidence or skills. there is a high staff : service user ratio and support is tailored around the person and their needs and everyone has a key worker, who meets with them once a month to ensure that everything in suport plans or activity plans is still relevant.
