ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - MANOR LODGE
Manor Lodge was the first Care Home that RMD Enterprises Ltd. acquired in 1992. It’s an ideal home for the elderly who feel the need for extra care and security that a Residential Home can provide. It has been built to an exceptional standard to give residential care to 16 elderly residents, and is situated in a quiet residential area with views of historic Harrow-on-the-Hill. Manor Lodge is a short walk from Harrow town centre with its multiple shopping and transport facilities. We have both female and male Service Users over the age of 65 years. We are a residential care home and therefore do not provide specialised nursing care. However District Nurses visit the Home on a regular basis and tend to our service users as and when required. With the support of the District Nurses and G.P.’s, we administer prescribed medications and ensure any creams, eye drops and other simple procedures are carried out.
Our first class residential home aims to provide the highest possible standards of care in a comfortable and secure environment, where our residents will be encouraged to lead independent lives with as much choice as possible.
We encourage our residents to maintain any existing hobbies and interests. We organise outings, shopping trips, in-house entertainment and games. A library service is also available and visits from local churches are arranged. Family and friends are welcome to visit at any time, although we do request that you inform the Home if you wish to come after 9pm. Appointments can be made to visit Manor Lodge by simply telephoning our Manager.
