Loughton Hall is an imposing Grade II listed building in ‘Queen Anne’ style. Amongst its owners was Mary Tudor It has played host to many Royals including Queen Elizabeth in 1561 & 1578 & King James 1 in 1605. After fire damage the present building was re-built by Reverend J. Loughton Hall has undergone an extensive renovation programme, and has been very sympathetically restored to its formal glory. It is now open to provide24 hour high quality care for people with dementia related illnesses.

In the current environment, it is essential that you have peace of mind and trust that your relative receives an excellent standard of care. We understand the specific needs that residents may have, including disorientation and memory loss.

Our care-staff have been specifically trained to be flexible and look beyond the dementia and recognise the unique individual person within.

We believe dementia sufferers who are well supported by a professional team who enthusiastically give them their time and energy are more likely to lead fulfilling lives; this is paramount to everything we do.

A person centred plan of care is drawn up with specific recognition of a resident’s mental health needs. We work closely with the medical profession to ensure that residents are treated with the utmost respect and dignity with their best interests at heart.

We assess how a resident’s lifestyle can be enhanced in the home and design a variety of activities to provide stimulation and promote independence.

We encourage families of all our residents to get involved with the Home and work with us to provide the best service possible.

We offer short, long term stays, respite and our bespoke day care service here!
