Situated within the heart of Spennymoor in County Durham, Lothian House is a 48 bedded purpose built care home offering both Dementia and Residential care.
Meet the team
At HC-One our experienced Home Managers and members of staff ensure kindness is at the heart of everything we do.
Residents enjoy their meals served within the ground floor Hillingdon Restaurant.
Family and friends join Residents for meals within the restaurant or the more intimate dining room.
The Restaurant is also home to an Internet Café where Residents have internet access.
Hobbies and interests
Our Activities Co-ordinator spends time with Residents and provides a weekly activities calendar which is displayed in the home.
Activities include:
• Gentle exercise
• Animal visits
• Musical events
• Visits and performances from local school children
Outdoor areas
Our attractive large landscaped garden and decking area complete with a fish pond and water features offers a place of tranquillity to sit and relax and the green fingered Residents at Lothian House enjoy helping to keep it looking good.
Residents can also enjoy relaxing in the secure and easily accessible open patio areas with comfortable seating.
