ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - LINDLEY GRANGE NURSING HOME
This purpose-built home in the historic Yorkshire village of Lindley, near Huddersfield, has been carefully planned to provide specialist dementia care in a pleasant residential setting.

The care we offer
As well as specialist nursing dementia care, we offer convalescence, respite and palliative care. Lindley Grange also offers day care to a number of local older people, and our experienced staff offer specialist support to family and carers.
Food
Our chef caters for all tastes and requirements, preparing tasty seasonal menus, with a hot and cold choice available. Each day we bake delicious home-made cakes that are served with afternoon tea, and residents can use the special Night Bite facility if needed. Residents' birthdays are extra special and always celebrated. We serve up their favourite meal and present them with a personalised birthday cake.
Activities
Handicrafts, painting, ball games and flower arranging are just some of the activities on offer at Lindley Grange. Green-fingered residents can help out in the garden if they wish, while reminiscence offers a chance to discuss years gone by.
We also organise a monthly event as part of our 'Big 12' calendar of seasonal activities with a special theme for residents to participate in. This can include bonfire night celebrations, a summer fair and, of course, Chrsitmas activities. Entertainers visit regularly and local excursions are also popular with our residents. Friends and relatives are encouraged to join in too.
