Situated in beautiful parkland, Lawn Park offers panoramic views of the boating lake and is a haven for local wild-life. The local shopping centre is just a short walk away with bus and/or train links to nearby towns and cities within ½ a mile.
There are three bathrooms along with one shower room offering a selection of bathing options including a Parker Bath and hoist assisted facilities.
Situated on the first floor is the Hairdressing Salon, the Hairdresser visits the home on a weekly basis, an additional charge is made for this service – details in main reception.
The kitchen and laundry, which service the whole Home, are situated on the ground floor. There is also a treatment room for the storage of medications situated on the ground floor.
Lawn Park is split into two floors and has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. Access between the two floors is via a passenger lift. There are 37 single rooms along with 2 companion rooms, all offer en-suite facilities. All rooms are of sizes that meet the criteria as contained within the minimum Care Quality Commission requirements. Each room has been tastefully decorated with co-ordinating soft furnishings, nurse call point and TV point.
On the ground floor are two lounges, the main lounge being open plan in design is divided into two separate areas, whilst the smaller quiet lounge offers a private and more intimate setting. Situated adjacent to the main lounge is the newly refurbished dining room with a kitchenette area to facilitate the making of drinks for residents and their visitors.
There is a small conservatory at the rear of the building overlooking the main gardens.
