ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - LAVENDER HOUSE & PRIMROSE LODGE

Lavender House offers high levels of specialist support to six individuals with autism and complex needs.

The large support team will all receive specialist training and support in order to maximise the potential of those living in the service, while focusing on keeping them safe and free from harm. Our aim is to empower those in the service through positive behavioural support. We maintain a focus on the individual, encouraging personal growth and development in a safe, non-threatening way. Autism is a very complex condition which affects individuals in different ways and we strive to tailor practice and structure in the service to the specific needs and abilities of each service user, to offer a truly person centred approach.

The service has en-suite facilities for each of the six bedrooms and communal areas which include a large dining room, a lounge, an activity room, and a well appointed kitchen.   

Primrose Lodge is a purpose built service where we provide support to four individuals with a learning disability, physical disabilities and complex needs. We aim to ensure that each individual living in the service has every opportunity to develop as a person, build on their skills and maximise their potential as an individual.

Each of the four bedrooms has en-suite facilities. The spacious communal areas include a large lounge, a dining room and a well appointed kitchen. There is also a sensory room, an activity room and a treatment room.

The services are situated in the pretty county town of Trowbridge, close to the town centre with easy access to shops and restaurants. Also within easy reach are local amenities such as a swimming pool, a large specialist college and many other facilities.
