ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - BROTHERS OF CHARITY SERVICES
Brothers of Charity Services is a North West based provider of services for adults and young people with learning disabilities and associated complex needs, often including a dual diagnosis. The aim of our services is to enable the people we support to lead as independent a life as possible and be treated with equality, dignity and respect.
Operating from our Lancashire office base, Brothers of Charity Services provides a range of supports for individuals with diverse and often complex needs, often including moderate to severe levels of behaviours that challenge, including the following;
-24/7 supported living services from single to shared tenancies incorporating one to one and shared support
-Supported living services within apartment projects, incorporating self-contained apartments with a staff facility on-site
-Respite services for individuals with mild to severe levels of need; this can include supporting people within respite services from their family home or providing ‘short breaks’ services from our respite service at Lisieux Hall.
-Social enterprises from horticultural schemes to catering projects, enabling adults with a range of needs to gain skills and meet new people in a working environment.
Our support is focused on promoting independence and we will work in partnership with internal and external professionals to ensure that the individual remains at the heart of the service design and delivery process; supporting them to make their needs and wishes known and to achieve their goals.
