ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - LAKE VIEW NURSING HOME
Lake View offers residential and nursing care and support for older people with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, alcohol dependency, challenging behaviour, Parkinson’s disease, physical disabilities and people who have experienced a stroke. We provide excellent modern facilities in a homely and comfortable atmosphere. The care home is characterised by a warm welcome and friendly staff.
Lake View offers a calm, comfortable and caring environment that people can regard as their home. We enable people to maintain lifestyles that are as similar as possible to those enjoyed at home. We encourage regular interaction with the local community, including contact with friends, family and local groups. We provide a safe and supportive environment and residents are encourage to take part in a wide variety of social and leisure activities. Activities that people can become involved with include bingo, board games, visiting entertainers, music evenings, shopping trips, pub lunches, trips to the theatre and garden centre visits.
Lake View offers a supportive and therapeutic living environment for older people. We provide nursing and residential support, and we tailor care to the needs of each individual who stays with us. We offer a number of facilities and activities designed to further ensure the comfort and safety of the people who stay with us. We provide a wide variety of leisure, social and recreational activities.
We assess the needs, goals and wishes of each person and provide a comprehensive service to meet a wide range of requirements.
Meal times are an important part of the day at Lake View. Our in-house kitchens prepare fresh nutritious food and are always happy to provide for individual dietary requirements and preferences.
We cater for individual likes and dislikes from a cultural, religious or choice perspective. Hot and cold drinks are available upon request 24 hours a day.
