ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - LAKE AND ORCHARD CARE CENTRE
Lake and Orchard Care Centre provides care and support for people of all ages with complex mental health needs as well as older people requiring nursing, residential, dementia care or assisted living support. We provide a comfortable and secure environment where people can feel at home. Our aim is to provide care and support for people in a manner that puts dignity and respect at the forefront of everything we do.
At Lake and Orchard we deliver a structured care programme in a safe, secure and comfortable environment. We offer a range of therapeutic and leisure activities and support people to enrich their lives and increase their confidence.
We offer a wide variety of leisure and recreational activities such as gardening, pampering afternoons, karaoke, manicures, baking and quiz sessions. We support and encourage people to become involved with as many activities as they wish. Residents also enjoy regular excursions to surrounding towns and villages in our own mini bus. We have an extensive programme of onsite and offsite events which is developed following discussions with individuals and their families.
The people we support are encouraged to maintain links with the local community and continue with the interests and hobbies they enjoyed prior to coming to Lake and Orchard.
Meal times are an important part of the day at Lake and Orchard. Our experienced catering staff prepare a varied menu of home cooked food and we cater for individual likes and dislikes from a cultural, religious or choice perspective.
