ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - KINGSWOOD LODGE
Kingswood Lodge is a registered care home, close to the town centre of Gillingham in Kent. It provides a safe, comfortable environment in which we deliver 24-hour support for up to 18 adults with learning disabilities and/or physical, high care and complex needs, including dementia.
We are committed to making the process of moving into one of our care homes as easy and stress-free as possible, including in the way we plan for the transition and the settling in process itself. A key objective of our service is to support residents to make the informed decisions and choices that enable them to take control of their lives and progress towards maximum independence.
We support residents to gain and maintain living skills and to grow in confidence, enabling them to access stimulating opportunities and experiences that are meaningful and contribute to their personal development and achievement.
At the same time, we recognise and respect each individual’s right to progress at a pace and in the way that is most meaningful to them.
Kingswood Lodge is conveniently located at the heart of its local community, which provides residents with easy access to educational, leisure and social opportunities and activities.
