ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - KILBURN CARE CENTRE
Kilburn Care Centre provides accommodation for people who require personal care, specialist residential and nursing care for people with dementia. We also provide care for young adults with physical disabilities. The home also offers respite care to give home carers a much needed break.
Set in a beautiful part of Derbyshire , this large, specially adapted, charming home is located in the quiet village of Kilburn. The home has recently had an extensive refurbishment. We provide a high standard of care 24 hours a day. Our residents have varying needs from specialist nursing support to general assistance with everyday living. Some stay with us on a permanent basis whilst others stay for short periods of time.
Our person centred approach means that each resident is an individual treated with respect and dignity. Each resident has a named key worker and an individual care plan. This will cover their personal and medical history, as well as a record of particular acitivities they enjoy and any cultural or religious aspects of their care.
Resident, and where approrpriate their families, are involved as far as practical in the decisions regarding their care. Emphasis on all aspects of care is the Manager's primary concern and, together with the experienced team of qualified staff.
Kilburn Care Home has on-site hair dressing facilities that are visited regularly by an experienced hair stylist.
