Hutton Village Nursing Home is situated in a peaceful and pleasant rural location in Brentwood, Essex, surrounded by fields and countryside.
The care we offer
Hutton Village can accommodate up to 40 residents and offers nursing care, convalescence, palliative care and respite. Our staff are dedicated and highly qualified to provide individual support and 24-hour care to our residents in a professional and respectful way.
Food
The chef at Hutton Village has been serving residents here for a long time and makes sure he meets with residents as often as he can to understand their needs are being met. Meals are tasty and nutritionally balanced, with a hot and cold choice available at each meal. Delicious homemade cakes are served each day, and there is a Night Bite menu available.
There are two dining rooms in the home - one is in the old school house and has lovely original features. Residents can choose to eat here, or in their own rooms if they prefer.
Activities
There is always something enjoyable and stimulating to do, regardless of residents' abilities or levels of mobility. Other daily activities at Hutton Village include arts and crafts, and gentle exercise sessions, arranged by our activity co-ordinator.
Local entertainers such as professional musicians, theatre companies and a PAT dog often visit. A mobile library service calls each month and religious services are held regularly for those who want to attend.
During the summer months, we organise days out for our residents where possible to local places of interest.
