ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - HOLT HOUSE
Holt House is situated in well maintained gardens in a quiet residential area of Prestwich. It is close to public transport and the motorway network.
Admission is open to anyone irrespective of personal belief. The ethos of the home is Christian. Although not all staff are practising Christians, Holt House is run on Christian principles.
Care is enhanced by an awareness that people should be regarded holistically, which means physical spiritual and mental well-being. With this in mind the care that is available has an input from the Home Chaplain who is an ordained minister.
This home for older people can accommodate 31 residents, living in 3 units consisting of its own lounge and breakfast area and all single bedrooms each have en-suite facilities of washbasin and toilet. Separate bathrooms with assisted mechanical aids are also situated on each suite.
There is also a beautiful conservatory overlooking the gardens, which the residents are encouraged to use.
