Helping Hands of Harrogate Ltd is a registered domiciliary care provider. We provide professional health and personal care services, specialising in the provision of high quality care and support to children and adults with additional needs, learning and physical disabilities and complex health needs. Taking a person centred approach, this service can be provided in the home, in the community, in mainstream settings, educational and specialist short break settings. Through the provision of high quality, flexible and accessible services we want to support the growth of a range of high quality care, health and short break services for disabled children and adults.
Our aim is to provide the best quality support services we can, to enable children and adults to lead fulfilling lives and be as independent as possible. Working together with children, adults and their families we strive to provide individualised packages of care which give people choice and control and support the achievement of their personal goals.
We are a caring and compassionate company. Our priority is to provide a reliable service that delivers continuity of care. Part of this continuity of care is to support individuals and their families through important transitions in their lives. We are able to focus on the need to support young people through the transition from Children’s to Adult services, working with commissioners to achieve the very best outcome for young people and their families.
We also offer a Training & Education Service. This is a service to support the education and training of professional carers (including personal assistants through a direct payment, individual and personal budget), settings and providers who deliver services to children and adults with additional needs arising from a learning and physical disability, emotional and behavioural needs and/or complex health needs.
Helping Hands of Harrogate currently covers the areas of North Yorkshire, York & West Yorkshire.
