Heathbrook House is a new, purpose-built nursing home in the pleasant residential area of Stoke Heath. It has been specifically designed to meet the needs of elderly residents.
The care we offer
Modern and comfortable with a homely atmosphere, Heathbrook House offers high-qualify care including nursing and residential care, convalescence, palliative care and respite. It also specialises in care for those with dementia and Parkinson’s disease.
Food
The home's chef manager provides a wide range of balanced, nutritious dishes using the freshest ingredients. These reflect the preferences and dietary requirements of residents. All tastes and dietary or cultural requirements are catered for. Wine and sherry are served on request and on special occasions. Residents can choose to eat in the home’s elegant dining room or in their bedroom if they prefer. Snacks are available at any time and fresh water is delivered to residents' rooms every day.
Activities
Our dedicated activity co-ordinator arranges a broad and stimulating set of activities tailored to each resident’s capability. Musical afternoons, painting, quizzes, baking and gentle gardening are some of the popular activities. Musicians and entertainers regularly visit, and outings are frequently arranged. The home hosts several popular clubs including ones for cookery, gardening and flower arranging. Heathbrook House also has strong links with a number of local charities and schools, whose children regularly come and perform at the home.
