ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - HEATH HOUSE
Heath House - part of the Quantum Care group - is a purpose built care home for older people situated in Bushey Heath on the London side of Watford, close to local shops and amenities. The home has 60 rooms with en-suite facilities which are split into four living areas, two of which are dedicated to caring for people living with dementia. Our home also has two short stay rooms for those requiring short breaks.
We are able to offer care for people with a variety of needs, including dementia. The home is accredited by Hertfordshire County Council to provide specialist dementia care, and has to undergo a rigorous annual evaluation process in order to achieve that status.
We offer an excellent programme of weekly activities, with regular visits from entertainers, excursions to the local countryside, public events throughout the summer months, as well as special celebrations for religious festivals and birthdays. We welcome visits from families and friends, and actively encourage them to get involved.
One of the core values of Quantum Care is that each and every employee is important and that is why we are committed to ensuring that all our staff have the professional skills and confidence to make the most of their role and to provide the best possible service to our clients. That’s why we’ve enjoyed Investor in People status since 2001 and place such a strong focus on training and development.
In addition to the residential care, we also provide an on-site day club for up to 10 people who are currently living in their own home. This vital service provides the stimulation, friendship and support needed to enable people to stay in their own home for longer.
