ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - HADDON HOUSE NURSING HOME
Haddon House Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 40 persons. The home is divided into four houses. Two houses offer specialist care for people with dementia who have the potential to present with challenging behaviours.
We provide a homely and welcoming environment, ensuring the person is at the centre of everything we do. We support families to come to terms with the person's illness and to remain involved in their 's life, as much as they and the individual wishes.
Haddon House has a vibrant and warm atmosphere that focuses on what people can do rather than their disability. Our motto is to help people retain their personality, to realise their dreams and wishes and to live life as they would like to do.
We invite you to spend time with us, to meet our family and to share in some of the activities we offer. This might be for a few minutes, hours, a day, weekend or for a couple of weeks respite or trial period.
Please feel free to ring and ask any questions about our services, or for any advice about yourself or your loved one or someone you care about who may be struggling due to dementia.
