ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - GUIDEPOSTS TRUST SHARED LIVES SCHEME
Guideposts Trust runs a Shared lives Scheme in partnership with Essex County Council. The scheme aims to provide care for vulnerable adults with a learning disability through self employed shared lives carers.
The scheme itself can help adults with learning and/ or other disabilities find a home to live with a carer as part of their family, or in kinship care and similar arrangements providing an alternative to residential care.
