Grosvenor House Care Home
Situated within a picturesque residential area of Harrogate, Grosvenor House Care Home is a converted Edwardian villa surrounded by mature and attractive gardens.
Grosvenor House is a 50 bedded care home providing Nursing, Residential, Respite and End of Life care.
We understand that meals are a very important part of our Residents’ day, our menus cover a variety of choices for each meal and a choice of snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are also available 24 hours a day.
Residents enjoy home baking and themed cuisine events are also popular. Family and friends are welcome to join Residents for a meal and join in with our activities.
Hobbies and interests
Our Activities Co-ordinator spends time with Residents to ensure popular pastimes are included within the weekly activities calendar which is displayed in the home, this includes:
• Ladies’ knitting club
• Hand massages
• Visits from our sponsored donkey
• Visits from the travelling zoo and museum
• Resident clubs such as Scrabble Club and Ladies’ Club
• Gentle exercise
Residents enjoy regular visits to events such as Harrogate Flower Show and The Great Yorkshire Show, as well as local places of interest.
Outdoor areas
Residents particularly enjoy spending time during the summer in our award winning gardens and patio area which are surrounded by mature trees, flower beds and well-kept lawns.
