The care we offer
Greenfield offers its residents excellent round-the-clock nursing care, residential care, convalescence, palliative care and respite. We also provide specialist residential and nursing care for people with dementia.
Food
When it comes to food, we always discuss residents' preferences and requirements to make sure they receive exactly what's right for them. Our experienced chef creates a wide range of appetising, nutritious dishes, prepared fresh each day using seasonal ingredients. Mealtimes are the perfect opportunity to socialise and catch up with friends, but residents can eat in their own rooms if they prefer. Friends and family are also welcome to join us for meals if they wish, for a small charge.
Afternoon tea is a daily highlight for many, with a delicious home made cake served with hot drinks. Some residents even take afternoon tea in the pretty gardens on warmer days.
Activities
Besides being fun, everyday activities help to boost residents’ physical and mental wellbeing. We organise a range of daily activities, including arts and crafts, bingo and flower arranging among others. Sessions with pet therapy dogs are also popular with many of our residents.
Music and knitting clubs allow residents to get together to share their interests, while the green-fingered can help out in the garden or potting shed. Residents also enjoy performances by visiting entertainers and frequent trips to local places of interest.
