ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - GOTTON MANOR CARE HOME
Gotton Manor is an old Manor House and provides a care home service for older people who require nursing or personal care. The home can accommodate up to a maximum of 60 people. The home comprises of two separate but adjacent buildings. A nursing home service is provided in the main Manor House building and a residential home service is provided in the Coach House Building.
The Manor House has been carefully converted to a care home and still retains the original character and features such as the original fireplaces and high ceilings in the entrance hall along with a beautiful chandelier.
Gotton Manor Care Home is set in ten acres of mature landscaped gardens deep in the countryside yet less than three miles from the town centre of Taunton and it's amenities.
There is also the Coach House that is part of Gotton Manor, this has been carefully converted and still retains the original character and features. The home has 27 single rooms all with en suite facilities and fitted wardrobes.
At Gotton Manor the care is based around each resident's individual needs. We prepare a person centred care plan for each resident, involving the resident and where approriate the family members.
Our Activities Co-ordinator plans and implements a wide range of activities both within and outside of the home environment. Visitors are welcome at Gotton Manor at any time and are encouraged to join into activities within the home.
