ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - GATEFORD HILL CARE HOME
Gateford Hill Care Home provides accommodation, care and support for people with physical disabilities and adults over 65 years. Services include nursing care; residential care; day care; respite care; end of life care; and physically disabled care. The service is split across four units. The ‘Cavendish Unit’, the ‘Lindrick Unit’, the ‘Milner Unit’ and the ‘Machin Unit’.
Set in a beautiful part of Nottinghamshire, the large specially converted grand grade two listed period home was built in 1824 and is set in 30 acres of grounds. We have two acres of landscaped gardens, a tennis court and a nine hole putting green for our residents to enjoy. We also have a marquee which is the centre piece for summer parties and barbecues. The home has several patio seating areas which are popular in the summer for residents to watch the local wildlife or just sit back and relax. We also organise regular trips to local places of interest including Clumber Park and Sherwood Forest, as well as swimming, bowling and cinema visits. Every member of our team works hard to make sure each resident is comfortable and well cared for. Our highly trained nurses also provide specialist care for those who need it.
