Are you looking for a residential home where life continues for you as usual - or perhaps where life improves as you leave behind your everyday worries and embrace a new beginning?
Eastbury House strives to be like home - sometimes we have perfect toast and occasionally we burn it! We have refreshments in the middle of the night and are happy to have lie-ins. Breakfast is when you wake up and supper when you are hungry. Nothing is mandatory and everything is possible. We pride ourselves on the quality of care we provide, which is gentle, efficient and without fuss.
We are situated in the centre of Sherborne, opposite the Eastbury Hotel, and near enough to the Pear Tree that meeting friends is easy - as is a visit to the library, local shops or monthly farmers market. We love having visitors, tea in the garden, trips to the theatre, pub, local farm shops and the seaside.
Judging by the number of friends and family who visit us at mealtimes, our reputation for providing wonderfull home-cooked food is widely known. We pride ourselves on using delicious local produce, with meals freshly prepared by our own cooks and our three course meals include anything from roast duck to sausage and mash.
The comforting rituals of morning coffee and afternoon tea are always remembered and homemade cakes and biscuits abound, which our friendly Labradors take great delight in sharing!
