Dovecote Care Home provides personalised nursing, dementia and residential care for older people. Our expert team provides individualised care in a modern, comfortable and supportive environment and encourages people to be involved in a wide range of leisure activities.


We enable people to maintain lifestyles that are as similar as possible to those enjoyed at home. We encourage regular interaction with the local community, including contact with friends, family and local groups. We encourage friends and family to be involved through regular visits and participation at special activities, events and open days.



At Dovecote, people are encouraged to pursue activities or hobbies they have always enjoyed and activities are tailored to the needs of each individual. We encourage people to enjoy a full and active lifestyle and provide a choice of social and recreational activities, such as mobility classes and regular outings.



We also support people to become involved in events in the local community and we have a monthly lunch club. Coffee mornings and bingo sessions are regular activities and we enjoy organising annual events such as garden parties and summer fetes.



Meal times are an important part of the day and our experienced catering team prepares a varied menu of fresh homemade food every day. We cater for individual likes and dislikes from a cultural, religious or choice perspective. Visitors are always welcome and we support people in participating in outings with family and friends.


We develop bespoke care plans for each person and support them in maintaining choice, control and independence over their lives.
