ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - DEWSBURY 2
1 Temple Road is a registered unit providing support and personal care to older adults experiencing a mental health problem. The unit is part of St Anne's community support services.
This home has a team of 7 full time support workers and it is staffed 24 hours a day. The team has a range of skills and experience to help you achieve an independent life while sharing with other house mates.
Training of staff include health and safety, first aid, adult protection, food hygiene, and most importantly NVQ level 3 in health and social care, mental health certificates and LDAF. The manager and deputy have the registered managers award.
We will support you to live your life the way you would like by promoting your independence in all areas of your life which are important to you. You will be fully consulted to involved in a person centred plan of your life directed by you covering health, social, education, leisure cultural and religious needs.We help to empower you to take control of your life and work together to ensure your home life is a happy, safe, environment which offers opportunities to be an individual and to achieve your wishes
