Dene Place is a magnificent home that provides an exceptional standard of care and has recently been further enhanced with a large scale refurbishment. Surrounded by stunning countryside, the home is conveniently situated between the market towns of Guildford, Leatherhead and Dorking.
The care we offer
Dene Place provides nursing, convalescence, palliative care and respite. Our care team consists of qualified nurses and highly-trained care assistants who are dedicated to providing specialist and personalised 24-hour care. Dene Place also offers a new Day Care for full and half days, which can be booked in advance by calling the home directly.
Food
We aim for mealtimes to be an enjoyable experience and our residents can expect excellent, home-made and nutritious cuisine in our home, made from seasonal fresh ingredients.
We cater for all tastes, and our food is nutritionally checked and based on individual requirements. We assess each resident shortly they after they move in, so that their dietary preferences and needs can be incorporated into the home’s menu.
Residents can enjoy sociable mealtimes in our traditional dining room, in their own rooms or outside on the patio on warmer days, whichever they prefer. Guests are very welcome to join residents during mealtimes should they wish to.
Activities
Stimulating activities and a full social life are a key part of life at Dene Place. Our activity co-ordinator makes sure there’s plenty to do to suit all interests and levels of mobility, although existing personal hobbies are still encouraged.
Dene Place boasts an activities room in what was the old stables adjoining the main house. Residents can join one of the many clubs and group activities that take place. We try to arrange outings where possible. Wisley Gardens, Newlands Corner, Guildford cathedral, museums, or to one of the local garden centres or pubs are always popular. Friends and family are most welcome to join us.
