ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - CRAEGMOOR COTSWOLD LODGE

Cotswold Lodge provides assessment and support for adults living with a primary learning disability diagnosis and may present complex conditions. Some of our service users also have communication difficulties or present behaviours that challenge, and predominately have dual diagnosis, as well as a range of other disabilities such as epilepsy or Down's Syndrome. The service offers 24/7 specialist support and is committed to providing just enough support to empower and encourage individuals to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible and achieve positive outcomes for all. The service is also supported by a quality assurance team, including a specialist learning disability advisor whose aim is to empower services users to take control of their lives and, where possible, work towards a level of independence which fits with their skills, confidence and aspirations. By encouraging people to take control and have belief in their potential, we can make positive outcomes a reality for everyone, regardless of age or presumed ability. We create pathways that support individuals through residential to community living, delivering measurable results for both local authorities and the people who use our services. All of our services are shaped to provide individual care pathways and person centred approaches that encompass each individual's need to achieve positive outcomes and a transition to more independent living.
