Coolhaze is a residential service to support the specific needs of people with autistic spectrum conditions to enable each individual to reach their fullest potential within a safe, structured, stimulating environment.
Coolhaze is a specialist service that supports people within the autistic spectrum with varying level of needs. Individuals are supported by an experienced staff team who have a good understanding and empathy of the needs of people with autism and related conditions who enable their physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs to be met. Each person has a person centred plan which they help design and each plan is specifically designed to reflect his or her personal needs and choices. Each person is assigned a key worker who ensures a holistic approach to their support. We actively encourage involvement of families in the support of their family member and seek to involve them in discussions concerning the welfare of the person using the service.
Everyone we support is encouraged through their person centred plans to achieve their goals and aspirations. It is our aim to assist each service user in the development of skills that will enable their full participation in the life of the immediate and wider community and live the life they want to.
Coolhaze is situated on the outskirts of Plymouth with easy access to the A38 close by is Morrisons supermarket and also within walking distance the Broadway hosts a variety of shops suitable for every day shopping including a chemist and small supermarket.
