ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - COUNTRY FOLK CARE
Country Folk Care registered with the CQC to provide personal care. However, we also provide other various services to enable and empower people so that they stay in their own homes for as long as they want/can.
We provide services to people in south Kent including South Ashford, Kingsnorth, Mersham, Brenzett and all surrounding areas,also the Romney Marsh's including Hamstreet, Greatstone, Lydd, and surrounding areas, please ring if in doubt. The office is open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, and suitable for disabled access on ground floor. The office is off the A259, main road from New Romney to Brenzett, parking available.
Country Folk Care contract with the local authority, provide services to those that pay privately, those with Direct Payments or Personal Budgets, and the local NHS team.
Country Folk Care, established in 1997, has worked hard over the years to learn and provide good practices and retain a good reputation. Our ethos is to treat everyone as 'important' whether they are someone who uses our services, their family or friends, social or health care professionals, visitors or our own workforce.
We are compliant with the CQC's Essential Standards and have a robust Quality Assurance process, for example a recent questionnaire showed that 100% of those that were asked feel that they have their views taken into account in the way the services are provided and delivered to them.
We have robust recruitment practices including all the necessary checks. We do our best to support our workforce with up-to-date and specialist training, we ask for their suggestions to improve services, and try to ensure they enjoy their work and achieve their potential.
We have robust up-to-date policies and procedures in place that help the workforce to safeguard those we support, to protect the confidential information we hold, to respect people's human rights and to comply with all relevant legislation.
